# Fixing breast shading

![Even though the breast shading is correct, they don't look nice.](/files/-MMnw8u4DIHFlVd_QuN9)

The idea here is to partially edit the breast area to make the shading rounder without increasing the size of the breasts.

![select the breast in edit mode](/files/-MMnwiyqX8uGV5YU5xGU)

{% hint style="danger" %}
If you plan to use subdiv modifier with the mesh, remember to activate "**Use Custom Normals**". Else your edit will not be visible and you might hate yourself afterward. Please be kind to yourselves.
{% endhint %}

The **Abnormal** addon can be found here: <https://github.com/bnpr/Abnormal>

![click Abnormal, and the vertices will be pre-selected](/files/-MMnwskAIlFBp0G1e2-B)

![click Sphereize Normal](/files/-MMnxDLlevlKnYCPrUmP)

![position the center empty by pressing G and moving your mouse](/files/-MMnxYDYpAs9xPGIv7mD)

![make sure the position of the center is creating this lower shading](/files/-MMnxq5DbvRuXqsHQYER)

![Confirm the change](/files/-MMny5GbLxZXNMSOTchy)

![Now you have a rounder pair of breasts without making them too large](/files/-MMnyJ0fvV_xlLoqpVz5)

{% hint style="info" %}
This can use this same method on buttocks, male chest, abs etc.
{% endhint %}
