In Eevee, there are times you want to preserve the material colors from being affected by the world color. One such case is when you want to change the color of the background and don't want to ruin the value threshold on your character.

By default, in Eevee, changing the world color will affect the hue, value and saturation.

The value of the diffuse shader is affected here
Change the material type to World. Use this node setup as the world material. Remember to tick "use nodes"
World color no longer changing your material colors.
